Mom & Pop atmosphere. Great food. Free cinnamon rolls with meal!

It’s always a pleasant surprise when you’re greeted with good service and baked goods. The cinnamon roll that was served when we sat down was a great start to a good lunch. We came at 2p and missed the rush, i had the chili which comes loaded and with a great portion of cornbread. My husband got the prime rib burrito (recommended by waitress). We finished with a piece of homemade coconut cream pie, which was great. We always like when you can get an authentic homemade pie versus the frozen ones that most places serve nowadays. This was our first time here and we’ll definitely be back.

Fun vibes, great service, and really good food. Be sure to try the pork belly burnt ends. It is unique, savory, and flavorful. Bottle mimosa are limited to 4 per hour per person, but that’s our customers fault, not the restaurant. It’s still worth the value.

Best black eyed peas ever! The open face chicken fried chicken is huge! Service is friendly and fast!

Excellent service, excellent food.This is the place I have been searching for for a while, a place that serves great food, I had two biscuits and gravy and it was the best by far at most places I've had been for sit-down breakfast.They greeted me when I came in the door, seated me and then brought a complimentary cinnamon roll which was was delicious and homemade and you can buy them by the dozens. The lady in the picture was my server and she was very very polite and a top-notch waitress probably deserves a raise. Put this place on your bucket list of places to dine in for Top Notch home style food.

I have to give this place 5 stars. I have ate there several times and it's always been good. Plus you get a home made cinnamon roll with your meals. Delicious!

This is the second time recently, that I've had their pie and it's just not as good as it used to be. The coconut cream pie was very thick and not creamy at all. Almost chunky cake-like. It looked pretty. The service is good as always though.

We love Neighborhood's and come here every Sunday! The staff is excellent no matter who we get. They accommodate our food requests and are extremely patient with our wild toddler. The complimentary cinnamon rolls are great! But I do recommend coming closer to 8am to get a fresh batch of rolls ;-)

Charming little space with great people Ann's delicious food. Quaint, neighborly, down to earth. Portions and very generous and the food was super flavorful! We tried the breakfast tacos and the sausage scramble and would no hesitate to have the again. Eileen is a wonderful server...ask for her by name!

We drove from OP to Lee’s Summit. It was worth it! Great food, friendly service, retro decor and free cinnamon rolls for everyone. Yuh can take a look at historical newspapers in the wall while waiting for your food. The tenderloin was delicious and I recommend the house made chips. My husband hadThe hamburger streak and enjoyed it as well. Large portions with reasonable prices. Also a military discount. Don’t forget a piece of homemade pie. Even after watching the movie The Help the chocolate pie was amazing !! We even took a walk around the red brick town afterwards. Some great local shops. We will be back.

Had a morning meeting in Lee's Summit and was thinking where can I go that is independently owned. Didn't go wrong and I settled on ham and bean soup.

Great place for breakfast! I have not had anything on the menu that I did not enjoy. Sunday mornings are very busy...be patient it's worth the wait!

I like this place. Eaten breakfast a few times. Server brings cinnamon rolls when seated. The coffee is good and hot. Had the #4. American fries are breakfast potatoes. Eggs over medium were medium +. 1/4 order B&G. Bacon and Sausage. A little bit of everything. Nice crowd for a rainy cool morning. The server was friendly and attentive to our table of 2. A very pleasant experience. Food in quantity and quality is very good. If in the area I highly recommend stopping in.

I had a superb at this restaurant. We loved the superb environment and the meals. The staff are super friendly. I’m happy we eventually decided to visit here.

Great food and friendly service. It's like Grandma is in the kitchen cooking up Sunday breakfast. Of course, my favorite part is the complimentary cinnamon roll before you even order. I highly recommend that you head down to enjoy the warm atmosphere and wonderful people.

Their breakfasts are wonderful, especially the biscuits and gravy. When you sit down, they give you a complimentary cinnamon roll each. We just love the down home atmosphere and food. A relaxing fun place to go, very family friendly!

Amazing hole in the walk spit. They have an assortment of breakfast meals that are not normally available at other liked places. This place is a must visit.

Our favorite breakfast (and lunch and dinner) joints in all of the metro area! Neighborhood Cafe is not only a place where you can get good, high quality diner food, but they also have many new and diverse dishes to choose from that are to die for. For example, some of our favorites are their incredible skillets (try the sausage one! It comes with hollandaise sauce on top! Oh my word!) My husband recently did a 5 day fast and all he could think about was eating a burger from Neighborhood. So on the dot, when his fast was over, we met at Neighborhood for dinner to have said burger! We love the owners and all the staff and love their new Neighborhood Fit meals and different products they are selling as well! Highly recommend! If you’re in town visiting, this is the local joint you don’t want to miss :) Oh, and though we don’t eat them (we eat gluten free) I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that they also have the best cinnamon rolls in town that they bring to you upon seating!

A free cinnamon roll for each person always is a good thing and they are pretty good cinnamon rolls too. The chicken and biscuits was surprisingly great. The chicken was moist and crispy. The horseradish mustard was very well balanced.

My daughter and I visit a different breakfast restaurant around the metro every couple of weeks. While we understand Saturday mornings tend to be the busiest time, I just wanted to give a shout out to all those friendly (yet very busy) hostesses we have come across. We have been waited on by some of the most friendly, courteous staff members you could ask for. Oftentimes being apologetic for our orders taking so long because someone hasn’t shown up for work. Today was Jackie at Neighborhood Cafe in Lee’s Summit. Known for their free cinnamon rolls which we received plenty of thanks to Jackie taking care of us while we waited for our orders - and instant drink refills. Thank you!

Neighborhood Cafe has always been one of my favourites. The free cinnamon roll appetizers are phenomenal, and the whole menu never ceases to impress. Very casual atmosphere, and very pleasant staff. If you've never been, I highly recommend it.

First off, the only reason I’m giving a three is because the food was terrible. I’m not saying all the food, but the liver with onions tasted like plastic. All the other meals are fine, especially the cinnamon roles. The service is amazing. They offered me a new meal, I politely turned down though because I didn’t want them to have to cook another meal for me. If I had something else, it would be a 5/5.

Phenomenal service! Our server was BUSY but still kept our coffees full and table clear! Our food was hot and delicious, not to mention THE CINNAMON ROLLS!!!
